Carol Wax (1953 – ) was born in New York City. She graduated from Manhattan School of Music in 1975 with a degree in Music, Flute Performance. After studying Flute in France, she became enticed by printmaking. Her book, “The Mezzotint History and Technique” established her as one of the foremost Mezzotint artists of our time. Carol’s work has received numerous honors and is presently in many museum collections.
